This is a branding project for a writer who specializes in grant writing for non-profit organizations. Melissa is a young writer and an entrepreneur with a fun, colorful personality, which she wanted to portray in her business persona in a professional manner.
Each icon represents a piece of Melissa's unique personality and professional attitude. Icons like a pencil and a notepad are the core symbols of a writer. A typewriter and a fountain pen, not only defines a writer, but a classic one. Then we have a few playful ones like an ice cream and a kitty. Some icons are unique to her business: a film strip for her niche in the film industry, and a planter for her method of reaching out to her clients organically.
