In early March 2020, COVID-19 hit the world with a wham. The economy was looking ahead for a big recession with non-essential businesses being forced to close down with no promise for a tomorrow. 10Torr, a local bar in Reno, Nevada, was eager to keep in touch with the community under quarantine in a unique way. We launched a campaign to share recipes of their original cocktail recipes online for fans to make at home. Inspired by the art of tarot cards, each recipe was deconstructed in various ways like featuring individual ingredients, focusing on the name of the cocktail, and emphasizing the mood the recipe creates. Soon after, 10Torr creates bottled cocktails using the illustrations for printed labels. They are now one of the best selling items, other than their signature beers, for curve-side pickups.
